" What was thought to be a small stay of 4 days in Quinta do Monte, soon showed itself as something thoroughly revealing. We have thought of a simple little reunion of a few friends, with our children, away from the city agitation. I could not imagine that this stay would be much more than only a few pleasant days, that it would redeem my inner strength and that from that time on I would inspire myself at the simple thought of its remembrance: the beauty and good taste of a house, where everything is beautiful and nothing is too much, that involve us and make us comfortable, that give us the opportunity of looking at an - always present! - idyllical landscape, made me imagine being inside a movie; I woke up every morning and went to bed each night knowing that I was living a life that is the privilege of only a few.

At the end of this marvellous stay, I returned home more than grateful for knowing that it had been a dream gone true, in a perfect blending of nature and wellbeing.

" O que estava para ser apenas um fim-de-semana de 4 dias, na Quinta do Monte, veio a revelar-se profundamente transformador. A ideia era uma reunião de amigos, com respectivas crianças, fora do bulício da cidade. Não podia imaginar que este tempo se converteria em muito mais do que apenas uns dias agradáveis, que me retemperaria as forças e que dali para a frente me inspiraria à simples ideia da sua lembrança: a beleza e o bom gosto de uma casa em que tudo é bonito e nada está a mais, que nos maravilha sem nos ofuscar, e nos envolve e aconchega dando-nos a possibilidade de contemplar uma - sempre presente! - paisagem idílica, fez-me pensar estar dentro de um óptimo filme; acordei e deitei-me todos os dias com a certeza de estar a viver uma vida que é privilégio só de alguns.

Depois desta maravilhosa estadia vim-me embora tranquila e mais do que grata, por saber que este espaço é um sonho tornado realidade na combinação mais do que perfeita entre a natureza e o conforto.
